SOLVED No email notifications from WLSDM
-
Hi Team,
We are not getting emails for alerts generated by WLSDM in one of our PROD server.
Testing email is successfully received.
WLSDM version 3.4.2

No; this property is usefull when OPC is down. You had better enable it. Disabling that property will NOT disable for all domains.
You can still configure notification settings on WLSDM part; like ON/OFF backend notifications… etc.
The configuration is still same; all the functionalities on WLSDM are still supported by OPC. If you have a specific case; then please let us know in detail to reproduce it.

Hi,
A quick question; Have you integrated with OPC? If yes, the email delivery controlled by OPC. Otherwise, we will check the logs.

Hi,
Yes this configured with OPC. Email delivery controlled by OPC means alerts will only be generated by OPC not by WLSDM.

Yes,
If the connection with OPC is health on WLSDM; then the email delivery handled by OPC. If OPC is not runing and WLSDM is unable to connect OPC; then WLSDM handles the email delivery.
Unless;
WLSDM System Settings > wl-opc.wlsdm (TAB) > “wlsdm.opc.notify.local.handle.enable” property is NOT in OFF state.
I think we resolved the OPC email delivery problem lately? Is there still problem exists? Please check this domin’s notifications on OPC notification dashboards.
Kind Regards…

Hi,
Domain is registered with OPC and its working fine using OPC. We are receiving emails from OPC server.
But how we can configure specific email for metric alerts for specific domain?Disabling the “wlsdm.opc.notify.local.handle.enable” property will disable it for all domains.
